We process some personal data for the purpose of making arrangements, providing our services and operating the website.

The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) („GDPR“).

Personal Data Processing

  1. Processing of personal data when using the contact form or e-mail

If you request our products or services, we will process the personal data you share with us, mainly through the inquiry form. These include name, surname, e-mail, phone number, your requests concerning our products and services, or other data you enter on the request or provide us during our further arrangements. 

For what reason?

We use the data to contact you to arrange further steps regarding our services.

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – contract negotiation and contract performance.

How long will we process personal data?

If we do not agree on further cooperation, we will process your data for a maximum of 3 years from our last communication. 

  1. Processing of personal data in the case of the purchase of service (order)

If you order/purchase services from us, we will work with the data you provide. These are mainly data for appointments or contracts, but also billing data: name, surname, email, phone number, address/location and service details. 

For what reason?

We need to process personal data to fulfil our contract – to provide you with a service. 

We will also communicate with you via your contact details and will be available to help you with your wishes and questions. 

We will also process personal data to fulfil our legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes).

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – performance of our legal obligations.

How long will we process personal data?

For the duration of the provision of our service and thereafter for 10 years from the last provision of such service, unless specific regulations provide for a longer period, in which case the processing period shall be governed by those regulations.

  1. Newsletters

If you sign up for our newsletter or are a client and did not opt out when you ordered, we will use your email address to send you our newsletter.

On what legal basis?

In the case of newsletter subscriptions, this is processing based on your consent; i.e., based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. 

If you are our client, the processing is allowed under Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., unless you have prohibited us from doing so.

Consent is voluntary and revocable at any time. 

How long will we process personal data?

Two years after the consent is given or after the last order and provision of the service. You can unsubscribe at any time via e-mail or by contacting us at sense@etnetera.cz.

  1. Telephone contact

If you are our client and you have not prohibited us from doing so, we may contact you to verify your satisfaction with our service, or with other offers of our service.

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest.

How long will we process personal data?

For the duration of our cooperation and then for a maximum of 2 years from the last provision of the service. You can object to such processing of personal data at any time.

  1. Photo shooting at our events

Photos or recordings may be taken at our events.

For what reason?

We want to capture the event for our internal purposes (archiving), as well as for promo on our website and social networks Facebook and LinkedIn.

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest.

How long will we process personal data?

For the duration of our cooperation and then for a maximum of 2 years from the last provision of the service. You can object to such processing of personal data at any time.

For a period of 5 years after the recording or photograph was taken.

You can file a so-called objection against such processing. If you do not wish to be captured in photos or video footage, please contact us or the organizer/photographer at the event location.

  1. If you apply for a job

If you respond to an advertised job position or send us a request for a job position, we process the personal data contained in your CV or cover letter.

For what reason?

We need to process this personal data in order to assess the candidate’s suitability for the job position.

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – contract negotiation and contract performance.

How long will we process personal data?

At the latest until the end of the given selection procedure. If we keep your CV even after that, it will only be with your consent, about which we may contact you.

Who can access the data?

Your data remains with us. Nevertheless, we work with certain companies and freelancers who gain access to the data because they help us run our company. These include:

  • companies involved in the processing of payments 
  • e-mailing service provider 
  • invoice and CRM providers
  • HR system providers
  • external legal and other advisors
  • freelancers involved in the development and maintenance of our services and products (IT, marketing, data)
  • persons and companies that help us to provide an offline event at the venue

We work with data within the territory of the European Union.

There is no automated decision-making or profiling in our company.

GDPR gives you, among other rights, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we process about you, to request access to this data and have it updated or corrected, or to request a restriction on processing, to request a copy of the personal data we process, to request that we delete your personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases you have the right to data portability. Granted consent may be withdrawn at any time, and you have the right to object to the processing based on legitimate interests. 

If you believe that we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection or pursue your claims in court.
